"Dubious Friends of Donald Trump" (Tor Guimaraes, USA, 12/11/19 12:25 pm)

Last night I watched a series about the "Dubious Friends of Donald Trump. I had heard many rumors about his Russian mob connections which saved him financially when the regular banks wanted nothing to do with our beloved president.

Before he was even a candidate, some of the Russian oligarchs were already investing heavily in TRUMP SOHO. This documentary is devastating because it tells names, places, dates, documents, and based on credible witnesses. Hard to say "fake news, so forget about it." Mr. Mueller should watch this documentary and re-write his report:

Based on the evidence, Putin had dirt on Trump much sooner than when he was President. The second video shows why Trump and Netanyahu are such good friends. It is personal.

JE comments:  Palmerston might have said of Trump:  He has no permanent friends, only permanent interests.  And then there's the popular refrain in Spanish:  Dime con quién andas, y te diré quién eres.  (Tell me who you hang out with, and I'll tell you who you are.)  Yet the More-Teflon-than-Ronald Donald defies all logic:  it's not that scandal doesn't stick to him.  Rather, the gooier he becomes mired in scandal, the more his base idolizes him.  This has certainly never happened before in US politics.  Elsewhere, perhaps.
