US DoJ Files Charges against Julian Assange (Massoud Malek, USA, 11/18/18 3:34 am)

Criminal charges could be brought based on the publication of truthful information.

On November 15th, it was reported that the Justice Department has secretly filed criminal charges against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. WikiLeaks is among the very few publications that never reported fake news.

In 2016 Democrats chose the least qualified person as their presidential candidate. She ran a disastrous campaign that delivered America to President Trump.

Hillary Clinton's devastating loss in the presidential election of November 2016 is rarely blamed on the party's decision to run a deeply unpopular candidate on an uninspiring platform. Hillary Clinton and her party blame WikiLeaks for publishing tens of thousands of emails hacked from campaign chairman John Podesta's account during the presidential race.  The emails were stolen by Russian intelligence officers.

In 2011, Julian Assange and his associate Sarah Harrison made an emergency call to Hillary Clinton's office to warn the US government that third parties had obtained a password to the full classified diplomatic cables and were circulating it on the 'Net.

With no response, and with the unredacted cables already in circulation on the web, WikiLeaks published the full unredacted cables.

JE comments:  Breitbart?  Either way, I'm curious what is meant by "sealed charges."  Nobody knows what Assange is accused of?  Who can explain?  And while we're at it, isn't Assange safely tucked away in the Ecuadorian embassy in London?

  • Wikileaks: in the Service of Russia (Istvan Simon, USA 11/18/18 11:30 AM)
It may or may not be true that Wikileaks never published fake news, as my friend Massoud Malek writes (November 18th).

Nonetheless, it is clear that Wikileaks serves Russia's interests and is likely funded by Russia as a propaganda outlet that is perfectly in sync with Putin's strategy of weakening the West. It is not a coincidence that Wikileaks only publishes leaks from democratic Western countries. I challenge Massoud or any WAISer, to find leaks published by Wikileaks from the worst regimes on earth, from North Korea, Syria, China, Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, or Iran. There aren't any.

Second, Massoud should never cite Breitbart, a fake news factory in the service of president Trump. Breitbart is a right-wing garbage website, owned by Robert and Rebecca Mercer. They are also the main investors in Cambridge Analytica, which now went bankrupt because of the fallout from its role in Trump's election. Cambridge Analytica stole the information of millions of Americans from Facebook, and used it to sow discord in the US electorate, in collusion with Russia, which did the same, part of the unfortunately successful strategy that elected our fake president in 2016. Trump is completely owned by Putin and the Mercers, the sinister billionaire duo of USA garbage gutter politics.

The Mercers of course already funded a replacement for the bankrupt Cambridge Analytica.

JE comments:  Has Breitbart changed its tune, party line, or what have you, since Steve Bannon left?

I still hope one of WAISworld's legal minds will tell us what "sealed charges" are.
